Pierrefonds XD

Okay then, here are my pictures from Pierrefonds itself :) The other girls are so much better at all the details and stuff like me, so I leave that to them, and give you a pic spam of the castle and boys and girls with only a few short comments. (Oh, and sorry to those who have seen a few of those pictures already in my incoherent squee post yesterday ;))

A first view from the streets

When we entered the castle ground and were walking to the entry we passed right through the village of Camelot! Later when we wanted to leave, this part was closed off to the public.

The draw bridge. I think by that time we were all in complete awe. Walking past where Merlin and Arthur met for the first time, and where the fights in "Valiant" and "Excalibur" happened.

Colin and his green plastic bag = new OTP! My personal highlight of the day was seeing Colin a couple of times, he is way too adorable and his smile lights up the whole courtyard :) I wish I could have taken him home with me!

Sadly we could not visit the Slash Dragon.

Bradley on the balcony. Now in chainmail! He was talking to someone on the ground, saying something about Colin being cheeky and if anyone sees him, he should be slapped. Later he also lounged around on the stairs and was striking some very silly poses XD

The girls were both wearing beautiful dresses and looked stunning. Gwen seems to be wearing Morgana's purple dress.

ASH XD We were sitting on the grass having a little snack and lounging around when I turn around and there are Anthony Head and Sarah Parish right on the grass with us. We were then asked to move off the grass as they were about to film a scene there. So we moved down to the other side, and sitting down right where Arthur and Merlin met each other for the first time, watching them film. Uther will get some loving XD And his very own long leather coat!

Now that the boys and girls stopped filming inside we finally could wander through the rest of the castle as well.

They seemed to have forgotten to take this banner off the wall!

We always thought this path way was one storey higher. It always seemed like it in the show but it is on the ground floor actually, and heading to the gift shop. We all watched "The Gates Of Avalon" together in the evening and were making jokes about Uther disappearing into the gift shop to buy some souvenirs any minute now.
